We, Team Sea Sakthi, are proud to announce that we secured the 6th global position and won the communication prize of 2000 euros at the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge.
News Update
The boat, designed by a 10-member student team called Team Sea Sakthi, is set to race at the 10th edition of the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge in july.Last year built an electric catamaran which finished sixth in the global competition. There will be 17 competitions from across the globe, including two professional teams this year. Team Sea Sakthi will be the only team from India to participate in the event, principal of the college D Saravanan said.
A group of 10 engineering students from Kumara Guru College of Engineering in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore have developed a hydrogen-powered energy boat, which is the first of its kind in India. This is the only team from India which will be taking part in the Monaco Energy Boat challenge to be held in Monaco during the first week of July. The boat and its propulsion were indigenously designed by the students and will compete against international boat racers from across the world.
The team of college students who built the hydrogen-powered boat yali 2.o is named Team Sea Shakti.Students of a private college in Coimbatore have designed a hydrogen-powered yali 2.o boat. This college team is the only one from India to participate in the international inter-college competition.
